But before you do that here's a suggested timeline for planning your party.
STEP ONE... Start planning 8-4 weeks before the party...
We suggest reaching out to kids birthday party entertainment providers first. Have an idea of what your child enjoys and reach out to recommended suppliers to let them know what you're looking for and see if they can provide the perfect solution.
We always suggest starting with the entertainment as this is the most important part of the party, it's what everyone will remember. Plus good quality entertainers like Party Peeps get booked up in advance and there's only so many talented entertainers.
STEP TWO... Once you've got your entertainers availability...
Now it's time to find suitable venues. Ask your entertainer if they have any specific requirements like access, power and space, even ask for suggestions. Party Peeps attend hundreds of kids birthday parties in a variety of venues so we'll definately be able to make some recommendations for you.
Find a venue with availability to suit your entertainer, not the other way around.
STEP THREE...Send out the invites!...
The earlier you can send out invites the better chance you have of getting plenty of guests, leave it too late and they may be busy with other plans.

STEP FOUR...Start planning any food, drinks or decorations...
Remember that these are nice to haves not essential. If you want to keep things simple or not go over budget you can ask kids to bring along a drinks bottle like most do for school. Decorations tend to be more for you and your instagram snaps than the kids enjoyment.
The main thing is to live the moment and enjoy it rather than spending the whole party running around not taking it in. So if you have alot on your plate already don't make life any more complicated.
STEP FIVE... Live the moment!
Yes it's time to enjoy the party. You've booked highly recommended entertainment and a suitable venue, everyone has had their invites and know where the party is at. Now it's time to actually enjoy it, live the moment and have fun.
STEP SIX...Love the memories.
Sadly parties don't last forever but once the balloons have deflated, everyone has gone home and the entertainer is packed down the memories will last forever. You'll be able to look back on these moments years from now when your child has grown up and it off to parties without you.
